Shaveer Mirpuri

Co-Founder & CEO

Former executive and board member of two early stage VC backed companies (IPO and acquired), Shaveer subsequently invested in several tech companies in e-commerce, AI, consumer brands, and manufacturing, including new businesses with large corporate partners. Prior to this, he was a consultant to Walmart’s former CEO on AI. In 2019, the American Chamber of Commerce named him a top 3 in entrepreneurship, and today he is an active member of the Forbes Technology Council.

Matt Horne

Chief Financial Officer

As CFO of Insite AI, Matt leverages nearly 20 years of experience in leading Finance and Operations functions to align the company’s long-term vision with its near-term objectives. Throughout his career, including time at Intel, Lenovo, and IronNet, Matt has honed his skills in business partnerships and market opportunity identification.

Nick Leeper

SVP of Customer Operations

Nick brings over 25 years of experience successfully developing solutions that deliver an unparalleled customer experience. He has held a variety of leadership positions from strategic planning and operations to product management at companies including Aptos, QuantiSense, Macy’s, and Old Navy, among others. Nick leads a customer-first operations team that places the needs and satisfaction of the customer at the heart of every decision and action, striving to create exceptional experiences.

Gopalakrishna (Gopal) Tadiparthi

SVP of Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence

As the Head of ML / AI, Gopal focuses on addressing consumer brands’ key challenges, helping them transition from BI to AI while maintaining impactful outcomes. With a PhD in Computer Science and prior experience as the Director of Analytics and Applied Data Science at dunnhumby focusing on Kroger, Meijer, Wholefoods, and Raley’s, he has a proven track record of applying data-driven solutions to enhance retail operations, including optimizing pricing, promotions, space, assortment, and category management, resulting in significant improvements for customers.

Marsha Shapiro

SVP of Client Solutions

Marsha is an accomplished AI solutions expert with over two decades of experience leading the design, development, and implementation of value-driven business capabilities. As a veteran in pricing, promotions, business planning, and supply chain optimization, she has spearheaded numerous initiatives that delivered measurable results and lasting impact for global leaders like Walmart, Target, Tiffany, Nike, and The Home Depot.

David Scogin

Former VP of merchandising at Sam’s Club and Walmart, Scogin has spent Spent more than 27 years at Walmart, 4+ years at Walmart China and 6 years at Sam’s Club, optimizing merchandising strategies. ​He also spent time leading store layout and space productivity at Walmart. Scogin recently retired from Sam’s Club and now works as a freelance consultant.​

Category expertise: beverage, snacks, candy, dry grocery, and tobacco.

Joe Grady

Former VP of merchandising at Walmart, Grady has spent 38 years in retail working in a variety of roles such as store operations, analytics, GNFR/capital procurement, merchandise buying, and as a Vice President Divisional Merchandise Manager for 17 years at Walmart, helping consumer brands succeed.

Category expertise: beverage, snack, personal care, vitamins and supplements (consumables).

Valerie Wilson

Former VP of category management at Albertsons. Valerie has held leadership posts at Albertsons, Safeway, Procter & Gamble, Nabisco and Clorox. She now advises clients globally on how to drive sales and revenue growth through category management and joint business planning.​

Category expertise: personal care, snacks, and cleaning supplies.

Jody Pinson

Former VP of merchandising at Walmart and recognized industry wide in beauty as a category leader. For more than 30 years, Pinson drove merchandising strategies at Walmart. She also held a VP of merchandising position in pet care, worked as a buyer and in store operations at the retailer, and has extensive experience guiding emerging and large consumer brands.

Category expertise: beauty (incl. cosmetics, personal care), pet care, stationary, and sporting goods​.

Philip Freehling

During his nearly 30-year career with Walmart, Freehling held prominent leadership roles including leading Walmart’s pet business as VP of Merchandising for eight years. Along with merchandising, Philip has broad based experience across operations, pricing, planning, modular development, and sourcing in areas such as health & wellness, sporting goods as well as the broader consumer goods categories. He is a proven leader who places customer expectations at the center of every business solution.
